Become a part of CABUWAZI!

Around 10,000 young people find a safe space at CABUWAZI. A space for training their artistic and social skills, trying out new things, overcoming limits, finding friends, experiencing community and simply having fun - regardless of their language or origin.Help us to make all this possible!

With a donation to CABUWAZI, you support a non-profit, extracurricular exercise and education programme that is open to children and young people from all social cultures and groups. A place where children can become strong in many ways. For a colourful, liveable Berlin.

Donating is very simple, by bank transfer:

CABUWAZI donation account at the Bank for Social Economy
IBAN : DE15 1002 0500 0001 2084 10
BIC : BFSWDE33BER

Or, even easier, through our donation form: You can simply fill it out and send it online. Thank you very much!

Your donation is in good hands

We assure you that we will handle your donation carefully and use it where it is most effective. To ensure that you receive all the information you need about us, we follow the voluntary commitment of the  Transparent Civil Society Initiative.

Help us with a one-time donation

Every donation helps!

Whenever possible we offer our training for free, to ensure that everyone who wants to can join us. To make this possible, we need your support. CABUWAZI has considerable costs every month: our professional trainers, heating and maintaining our tents, repairs, props and technology, costumes and make-up, light, music, organisation and everything else that makes a circus. The support we receive from the youth welfare office is far from sufficient for this. And we can only cover a part of the funds through applications for support, CABUWAINZIG contributions, admissions for events and catering. For the rest we are dependent on donations.

If you have the financial means, we would be very happy about your support – every contribution helps!

Become a sponsor

As a sponsor you will support CABUWAZI regularly with an amount of your choice. In doing so, you help us to remain independent in our work and make it possible to plan for the future – and thus make an enormously important contribution to our charitable work with children and young people.

How do I become a sponsor?
Becoming a sponsor is very simple: The easiest way is to fill out our online form. You can also send us your application for a sponsor membership via e-mail, fax or post.

You can determine the amount of your regular donation to CABUWAZI yourself – every donation is invaluable for us. The most common choice is an annual membership fee between 25 Euro and 100 Euro. It is most convenient for us if you give us a direct debit authorisation, as no administrative costs are incurred.

With a sustaining membership you do not take any risk and no further obligation. You can terminate it at any time without notice via mail or phone. We take the protection of your data very seriously: we use your address data exclusively for supporting member services and information and never pass them on to third parties.

Why it is worthwhile to become a sponsor?
Your financial support makes our work plannable – and thus makes a valuable contribution to the preservation and further development of our educational circus work. You support a unique, integrative social movement project where everyone is welcome.

Your financial support is also tax deductible. For donations under 200 Euros, the tax office will recognise your deposit or transfer receipt in combination with your bank statement. We will also automatically send you a donation receipt at the end of the year.

Becoming a corporate partner

With a corporate partnership, you assume social responsibility visible to your customers, employees and the general public.

Your commitment to CABUWAZI is a sign of responsibility, credibility and trust as well as an enormous benefit for everyone involved. Therefore CABUWAZI offers a range of options for partnerships with companies: you can support us with cash and non-cash donations, help us to implement projects, book personalised holiday cooperation arrangements or let your employees work at our locations as part of a corporate volunteering scheme. You are also welcome to involve your customers and business partners.

Here are a few examples of existing corporate volunteering arrangements:

  • Spreequell donates drinks for our events
  • The entrepreneurs’ initiative Tempelhofer Damm finances the construction of a circus café in Tempelhof
  • Knorr Bremse supports the construction of a training hall for CABUWAZI Marzahn

No matter which option you choose: Through a partnership with CABUWAZI, you support a non-profit, extracurricular activity and non-formal education programme that is open to all children and young people – promoting social interaction and a more colourful, liveable Berlin. Please feel free to contact us: We are sure to find an option that’s suits your company.

Other ways to support CABUWAZI

In addition to donations, sponsoring and voluntary work, there are a number of other ways to support our integrative circus work in an uncomplicated and sustainable way:
  • Book our paid services:
Most of our workshops and coursers are free of charge because we want to give everyone the opportunity to join. The costs for trainers, equipment, heating and technology are partly covered by paid courses such as school project weeks, circus holiday courses and training for the youngest – CABUWINZIG. If you register your child for one of these paid courses, everyone benefits: you and your child, as well our organisation and other training children.
  • Visit our shows: Tickets to our shows like the famous “Weihnachtszauber” don’t cost much; but even small contributions help to finance our work – and everyone is delighted by an enthusiastic audience.
  • Shop at www.bildungsspender.de, Amazon Smile and Helpshops.org: Whether shopping online, booking tickets or trips: With “Bildungsspender”, you can shop at over 6,000 online shops and at the same time donate a contribution to CABUWAZI – very easily, without registration or additional costs. Simply enter “CABUWAZI” or “Grenzkultur” as your institution on www.bildungsspender.de, choose your shop and off you go! The same principle applies when purchasing via Amazon Smile and Helpshops.org (specify CABUWAZI or Grenzkultur as the organisation to be supported here).
  • Become a fan and follower: With a “Follow” on our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts you help us to become better known – and to reach new supporters.<
  • Donate products and services: Posters, illustrations, open spaces for advertising, wood and building materials, drinks for events and much more: We are very happy about donations in material and service donations! As a non-profit organisation, we are also happy to issue donation receipts.’
  • and last but not least: pass it on! Tell your family, friends, colleagues and whoever else you meet about CABUWAZI. The more people know us, the better. Thank you very much!
